Radish helps to clear away heat and improve digestion. This detox diet plan is for Yin-deficiency people, suitable for diabetics.


b. For non-vegetarian Yin-deficiency people (always feel hot).

Drinks: Chrysanthemum tea

Take a cup of warm chrysanthemum tea after getting up

Breakfast: Egg + Radish and Cabbage Salad

1 Egg
2 cup radish strips
2 cup purple cabbage strips

Preparation:
Boil egg

Mix salt, vinegar and sesame oil with radish and cabbage strips. Stir evenly. Serve with egg.

Lunch: Stewed Tofu with Radish

1/2 cup tofu, diced
2 cup radish, died

Preparation

Heat oil in a wok, add onions, tofu and radish cubes.
Stir fry. Add 2 tablespoon stock and 1 tsp soy sauce.

Simmer for 5mins. Add salt for taste.


Dinner: Radish with Kelp Salad + Whole wheat bread(or steamed millet and white rice if you are with gluten tolerance or celiac disease)

2 cup radish strips
1 cup kelp strips
1 slice whole wheat bread (or steamed millet and white rice if you are with gluten tolerance or celiac disease)

Preparation:

Boil kelp strips till cooked. Take out, cool down.
Mix radish and kelp strips with sesame oil, salt and vinegar.
Serve with bread(or steamed millet and white rice if you are having gluten free diet).

If you have too frequently pees don't eat raw or cold radish.

c. For vegetarian people


Breakfast: Tofu and Radish Salad

1/2 cup tofu
2 cup radish strips

Preparation:
Boil tofu, cut into strips.

Mix salt, vinegar and sesame oil with radish and tofu strips. Stir evenly.

Lunch: Stir fried Radish with Shiitake Mushroom

5 shiitake, soaked, cut into strips
2 cup radish strips

Preparation

Heat oil in a wok, add onions, mushroom and radish strips.
Stir fry. Add 1 tsp vinegar and salt for taste.


Dinner: Stir fried Radish with Tomato + Whole wheat bread(or steamed millet and white rice if you are with gluten tolerance or celiac disease)

2 cup radish, diced
1 tomato, diced
1 slice whole wheat bread(or steamed millet and white rice if you are with gluten tolerance or celiac disease)

Preparation:

Heat oil in a wok, add onions and garlic. Add radish and tomato cubes, stir fry till cooked. Add salt for taste. Serve with bread(or steamed millet and white rice if you are having gluten free diet).
